Is anyone else applying to Harvard EA in JROTC?

Am I the only one? I see more people who are in Newspaper, NHS, etc.

Just wanted to know if I am the only one applying in it.

I know someone in class of '06 and class of '08 who did JROTC...I think its kind of unusual but probably not unheard of. I don't actually know any schools in my area that offered it, so maybe that's why less people do it if it isn't available everywhere.

Oh okay. Do you think I should use it to stand out in the applications? I could be referred to as the "Cello Playing-Rock star-Lietenent (I play cello, I'm in an alternative band, and that's my rank). LOL

I mean, I'm not selling out and trying to impress the adcoms. Well, I am trying to impress them but not by being a faker. Those are just my passions, and I think they would make me stand out.

JROTC is a good EC - like any other worthy EC. However, Harvard may be a little less impressed with it than most schools, since they do not allow ROTC at Harvard. Harvard students wishing to take ROTC must go over to MIT to get it.
