For current Brown students or alums. Did you ever visit Brown after getting accepted? And what dates do they offer to visit upon acceptance?

The wait is killing me and I just want to have a heads up.

The wait is killing me and I just want to have a heads up.

Here are the official programs hosted by Ivy + M + S dates this year:

University of Pennsylvania: April 7-8, 11, 14-15, 18

Princeton: April 7-9, 14-16

MIT: April 7-10

Columbia: April 10,11, 16-18, SEAS (Engineering) April 15-16

Brown: April 10-12

Yale: April 13-15

Dartmouth: April 14-16

Harvard: April 16-18

Stanford: April 28-30

Of course, there’s nothing stopping you from informally visiting on your own. It’s not as if they’d bar you from campus.

Jumping the gun a little bit, hm?

I thought I saw on their website that Brown’s is Apr 11 -13 this year.

I was also told 11-13.

So is it official through the 11th and 13th!

So is it official through the 11th and 13th! ?

My info was passed to me from my Alumni regional coordinator (not Brown). I’d say if Brown’s website says something different, definitely go with that!

That is such a blessing and will they fly you out? meaning expenses paid?

If we could afford to fly pre-frosh out to visit there wouldn’t have been issues with budget cuts and layoffs for the better part of the past two years.

Does any university even pay for accepted undergrads (I know grad programs do) to visit?

Brown does offer fly outs for a few selected students based on financial need. They offer, you can’t ask.

Some students are invited to ADOCH with all expenses paid, but it’s a very small number. If you want to go, you need to pay for the ticket.
