Hey,

Is anyone else here trying to transfer to Georgetown besides me?

~Matt

hey, where are you transferring from? I'm thinking of transferring to SFS.

I am attempting to transfer to Georgetown College from UMBC, u?

WashU, are you a sophomore transfer?

UMBC, yeah sophomore transfer. Get at me on aim, my sn is matlm.

I'm actually thinking of transferring next year as a junior. I thought about whether to transfer now or later, and I figured that my application would look stronger if I can show 3 semesters of good work at WashU. Plus, I'm doing school related things this summer, so I'm gonna wait until next year. Good luck! Sorry I don't have a screename yet, but if you have msn it's the same as my username here.

I have applied to their Liberal Studies program. It is the International Affairs degree program, evening classes. It is primarily set up for adult, working professionals who are unable to attend daytime classes, but want to complete their degree (that's me).
I have an interview with them the third week of Feb.
If accepted, I will be going in as a first-semester Junior.

i'm applying to sfs. thomas, you have your interview already? when did they contact you, or you contact them?

efs424... I contacted them.
They emailed me on Friday and said that my face-to-face interview was cancelled. They said they were so busy because this is one of the biggest years for applicants they have ever had. So, they told me that I will just have a phone interview in March. I am suppose to call them Monday morning to set up a date and time. It works better for me, though. Having a career, it's hard for me to fly up to DC right now.

Yep, I'm trying to transfer from Tufts although I just transferred to Tufts from the University of Southern Maine so I'm not sure how much that will negatively affect my situation.

I'm a really good writter so basically what I'm banking my whole application on, that and my EC's and that fact that there is really no other school in the United States that offers the intensity of the Arabic program that G-Town has. I also had a 3.76 but at a state school I'm not sure how much that really means.

I can get really good recs too so I think I have at least a 10% chance of getting in...which isn't to bad considering they accept less than 20% of the applicants.

Get at me on AIM prodigyday1 if you guys have any suggestions

for transfer admissions they actually accept closer to 30%
