Is anyone on here obsessed with going to a particular college?

I know its a random question but I've always wanted to go to the same college since I was 7. Now that I'm a high school senior, my desire to go there has not wavered but since I know I wont get in, I'm not going to apply...go figure lol. I'm still going to try to go there for grad school and I've found other schools that I really like as well. I was wondering if anyone else loved a college so much that it was hard for them to think about going anywhere else!

I try to not even get obsessed with going to college at all, though I know I will.

Cue MIThopeful16 in 3…2…1…

Are you a senior BillyMC?!?!

I’m not really obsessed with any particular college, although I really would like to be admitted to Stanford SCEA… that would relieve me of so much stress for the upcoming months :)

I am a senior.

I know what you mean! Getting in anywhere at this point let alone Stanford which is such an AMAZING school would be an immense stress releaver! Good luck :)

STANFORD!!!
What is your school natasha?

Well in lieu of realizing that I wont get into Yale which has been my school since I was 7, ( I have a wall dedicated to Yale memorobilia in my room) I have become rather obsessed with going to Smith! I love the campus so much and it seems like a great community of people. I hope I get in! But even then I’m always going to lament the fact that I didn’t do my undergrad at Yale lol…I know it sounds stupid but I guess you just kind of have to be in shoes to understand :)

MITHopeful16 appearance!

Same. I’ve dreamed of attending MIT since I was 8. I still have a long way to go as a Junior, but it’s that much closer.

I’ve dreamed about Yale and Harvard since I was 7.

Good luck MITHopeful! I really hope you get in cuz I know what its like to be so in love with a school!

The only school I can REALLY see myself attending is Whitman College, but that’s partially because that’s the best school I’ve visited so far - it’s hard to envision myself somewhere I’ve never been. But I am visiting some east coast schools in the next few weeks and despite my love for Whitman I’m pretty sure the likes of Brown and Vassar and Barnard and whatnot will win me over. And if not, well, it’s off to Walla Walla for me next year  (hopefully. I’m pretty sure I can get into Whitman. Knock on wood)

Look at my location broseph.

@Kenzie I hope you get into Whitman but believe me, you’ll love Vassar, Brown, and Barnard. They’re all fantastic schools and they have amazingly beautiful campuses. Good luck with everything! :)

brownorbust lols

MICHIGAN

Go Blue! Sorry romanigypsyeyes MSU is my 2nd! :P

Notre Dame for as long as I can remember. If I don’t get in for undergrad, I want to transfer or get accepted to their MBA program.

UPenn, Chicago, and Duke, although Michigan would be great too.

I have wanted to go to Harvard since I was 7 years old. It is the one dream that I have been able to hold onto for this long. I am a sophomore, so that is 8 years of being completely obsessed with a particular college. I still have a ways to go though.

Yale. If there was a binding early decision for Yale, I would apply for it.

Yale… </3
