Oh, golly! You know the drill:

I'm an incoming Sophmore at an average public high school. My lifelong ambition is to attend NYU and fulfill my vocation of becoming either a famous acrobat or a journalist, but I'm beginning to lean toward the latter due to a complete lack of coordination. Yeah, I know, I'm not funny.

UWGPA- 3.8...ish.
WGPA- 4.5...ish.

SATs- Not yet taken.

Course load- All honors and advanced.

ECs:

School Paper
Student Council/Class President
Varsity Cross Country
Varsity Sailing Team
Museum Docent

I intern at a well known womens' rights organization in Boston.

I volunteer at a hospital and at various events through my internship and student council.

I've won various awards (oh gee, aren't I special?) and next year I'm attending a pre-college journalism program at Columbia.

So basically, I am completely average; a tadpole amidst a spacious pond compact with smelly, lifeless overachievers. No one on this forum has any definite idea of my chances, but can you at least... you know, console me? Or give me advice?

I love and thank you in advance.
