I think my school pulled out the acess code cards before they gave us the books. I was looking at the demo for Pearson's online material and it is AMAZING. They have like flashcards and quizzes in addition to a PDF study guide and PowerPoint review.

I want that access code! I could buy it for $30 but I was wondernig if anyone has one they could possibly let me borrow. I would be your karmatic lover forever...

everyone? LOL...surely there's someone thats using something else...

i hope this book isn't too obscure. i need that d*** code!! i have a test tomorrow :(

i talked to a friend of mine who was usnig the pageant book. i hadnt heard of it and said it was a dumb name and she started going into a rant about it.....lol

I'm taking AP US History, and my class isn't using the American Pageant. And I have heard plenty of other people mention the books that they are using which are not the American Pageant fyi.

Read on the back cover. There's a thing that says "for more information, see the insert inside this book."

The very first 2-3 pages of the book talk about "longmanamericanhistory.com" and how they have all this cool stuff to practice with. well, if you go to that site yuo have to enter an access code that was supposed to be distributed with the books. Or, you have the option of purchasing access for $30. But why pay for that when it's supposed to come with your book??

the first is "student resources", the second is "instructor resources" which has PowerPoint review presentations which I find useless but some may enjoy.

I'm using that book. I don't have a code, though. They still have some stuff on the website to study with though, but it would be nice to have the code.
