For me, everything is completed. It says “To Do: No outstanding items.”

This includes Emory Scholars stuff.

For me, everything is completed. It says “To Do: No outstanding items.”

This includes Emory Scholars stuff.

I emailed them few days ago, Emory replied saying all my items are on file, and that it was just an error on OPUS. I would do the same, call or email them to manually check if all your items are on file. Just don’t stress over it.

i had the same problem. when i talked to an admissions counselor he said that as long as the application and supplement are in before the deadline they will not penalize students for things beyond their control. he was also apologetic about the new system being so slow. i would not worry but just to be safe i would call or email anyways. and in case anyone is wondering only a couple days ago did they fully process everything.

Everything is finally completed!!! YAY!! :D

UGH! Major frustration, called them three times, and each time the call was dropped because of bad signal though it was all in three different places with full bars for me. So I had to e-mail… I hope I can confirm I don’t have missing items by tomorrow. Ugh.

“I submitted Nov 14. Still have HS transcript, counselor rec, and both scholar forms initiated.” 11/24

Now I have 6 to-dos initiated! All of the above plus two additional (was it just recently added?) scholars items.

Eek, what to do? Should I email?

You applied to scholars and you are applying to Emory RD right? Yeah might as well call Monday. If its scholars, no need to fret. Just call the office monday.

I still had six things initiated a few days ago, so I called them, and they said there wasn’t anything missing. The day after I called them, though, it went from six to one… and it’s still one (the app fee)…

Ok, I thought I was the only one in this situation. My To-Dos went from 4 to 6 because of the scholars application materials. For those of you who had 6 because of scholars app materials, transcript, and counselor recommendation, how long did it take for the list to reduce to 1 or no items “initiated” on the To-Do List?

^I sent in everything by Nov 14 and had 6 things “initiated” until a couple days ago. Now only my app fee is “initiated.”

But I also called them a few days ago, so that might have facilitated the 6 to 1 deal.

I still have quite a few things initiated, but I got everything in by November 15 for the Scholars deadline (RD). Would that penalize my chances of getting Scholar?

No. Judging by this small sampling of scholar applicants on CC, many must have this problem.

I am in the same situation as bubblewrapaddict. Everything sent by mail is initiated.

@bubblewrapaddict, you should be fine. If you got all of your materials in by November 15th, then you will be considered for the scholars program. Good luck!!

@keellota, I think i’ll try calling as well, to make sure everything is in line. thanks!

Thanks! It’s good to know I’m not the only one at least. I emailed them and they haven’t responded yet, but everything was in before the deadline so I’m hoping it’ll all work out :)

Let me know if you hear anything!

Eek. I’m emailing them right now too. I seem to have more missing than anyone else…

Do you have more than 9?

Total 10. But -3 (2010 tax/FAFSA) and that’s 7. But I know four of them MUST be in there… So I guess I’m just really worried about 3.
