I love math and have a strong passion for it, so I don’t think that will be a problem. I am doing Pre-AP Chem and regular biology right now and doing pretty well, but I heard AP Human Geography isn’t that hard, so would those courses be too hard for a sophomore? I am up for challenge, and I also play soccer all year.
My daughter did Calc AB and AP Bio as a sophomore, and did well. She is taking AP Chem as a junior (she took honors Chem last year) and she says it’s harder but also quite doable (she’s taking 6 APs as a junior). If you feel up for the challenge I would say go for it.
From past experience, AP human geography is probably one of the easier AP classes so I definitely recommend taking it.
As for AP chem, I personally think that it’s one of the harder AP classes. However, that all depends on how good the teacher at your school is at teaching it and how much enjoy science classes. If the teacher is good and you really enjoy the pre-AP chem class that you are currently taking, I think AP chem would be manageable for you.
I personally liked AP bio and AP human geography, but hated AP chem. Good luck!
