Hello everyone
So I got accepted to SJSU chemical engineering this year.
There have been so many negative comments about the SJSU saying that students graduate from SJSU are unable to compete with people from Standford and UCB in terms of finding jobs and the teaching quality in SJSU is not good.
My dream has always been getting a job in silicon valley as an engineer for a few years and study MBA since I am also interested in finance.
And the reason I chose chem engineering as my major is because I’m interested in recycling and eco-friendly stuff.
I have a good GPA and was accepted by both UCI and UCD. But I’m thinking of attending SJSU because of the cost.
Could attending SJSU help me reach my goals to the field of finance or be a find a good job as an engineer? By the way, I am an international student, and I know this will decrease my chances of finding a good job…
I would appreciate any feedback from you!
SJSU has a solid engineering program in general. Plus, the bay is all about eco-friendly. It’s a great school. I’m currently transferring out of UCI engineering and going to another school. I wouldn’t bother with UCI.
