SJSU(san jose state university) chemical engineering

Well, I would like to go to sjsu and major in chemical engineering for master program, but i can’t find any useful information about sjsu chemical engineering. I’m afraid that san jose state university is not good enough to compete with UCB or Stanford and i want to be an engineer in silicon valley. Could someone helps me or give me some useful opinions! What is it your not finding? And if you are not instate for a CSU you will be paying out of state fees so why SJSU?

i think you misunderstood my point, i just wanna know if sjsu is a good school for me to go to.

Ah, I see. Since you know you want to work in Silcon valley. Contact career services at SJSU and ask about how many Chem Eng are employed by local companies. Also, I believe you can go to Linkedin and search by school and area of work to get a sense of where Chem Engineers from SJSU are working. Perhaps you can contact a couple of them and ask them directly any question you have.

If you don’t have a Linkedin profile, make one. U will need it for any job you look for.

SJSU isnt’ Cal or Stanford but, it does offer many very solid academic programs. Their engineering programs are pretty good. I probably wouldn’t pay OOS tuition to attend though.

Why are you considering SJSU and what are your other options?
