I've heard its difficult to get into but it has a 70% acceptance rate so is it really that hard? I have a good gpa but my sat scores pretty low having a 490 in cr, 530 in math, and 540 in writing, but my composite is 1560 which is decent. On their website it said minimum sats are 1070 for cr&math but i have a 1020. I have a 3.6/3.9 (weighted/unweighted) gpa though. Does that count for anything?

With the exception of schools like Harvard difficulty is subjective. What might be easy for me to get into could be hard for somebody else.

I am not familiar with the school so I looked it up. The acceptance rate is fairly high, but the majority of accepted students had a 3.75+ unweighted (almost 60 percent of those accepted) and your SAT is a little low. From my understanding they only look at math and critical reading, where the 25th percentile for the two combined is 1110 (almost 100 points above your score). So yes you have a shot, the high acceptance rate will help you, but your numbers are all a little bit lower then where you want them to be.

They also consider things like ECs and your essay, if you are lacking in those areas it will hurt you, but a strong resume would compensate for those numbers.
