you still have a lot of high school ahead of you, you seem to be overly worried.

you have a solid start, keep up the good work. No one here can tell you if you're in or not, but just keep doing what you're doing and you should be fine. Keep in mind that you should be doing all these things because you enjoy doing them, not because you want to build up your application.

So my advice is to relax, do your best, and worry about applying to college when the time comes. If you like Cornell come out and take a visit if you get the chance...an ideal time would be in late August since most high schools are out, but Cornell will be in session. But I think it's a little to early to be overly concerned with college admissions...enjoy high school.

Keep onto the track you have set for urself (obviously while keeping sanity and having a great time) and I'd say Cornell is a realistic goal for u. Best of luck!

lol thanks! yeah, this is really early but i just wanted to get an idea.

ya that's understandable...i wish that i knew wat was ahead when i was an underclassman. You definitely seem to be on the right track tho. People will always say to make sure u have fun on the way tho to make sure that ur not going insane about college but i trust that most people have a grip on their life where they don't think about college 24/7...and from ur last post it seems u understand that situation. So anyway gl!

all you type A personalities should relax - you all demand positive reinforcement without considering some of the more important values of an education (highschool, college, and beyond)

why are you worrying about college when you havent even begun your junior year yet? just chill out! :)
