<p>What is the workload like for CS 188? I plan on taking CS 164 along with 188 and I know 164 with hilfinger is a pretty brutal project class from what I've heard so I was wondering what the workload for 188 is like?</p>
<p>The projects in 188 aren’t too bad, one of them can be time consuming. It’s mostly exam based, whether that is good or bad for you.</p>

<p>It’s more like a math class half way through (statistics). It’s not very theory based (the slides contain very little of anything), but you are expected to understand more complex applications of the material for the exams probably to keep the grades lower because almost everyone gets a hundred on the projects and homework (homework and projects have an infinite number of attempts, so it’s hard not to get a 100 in them).</p>
