Is Cuarto really that antisocial?

Right now, I’m torn between Tercero and Cuarto. On one hand, Tercero would probably closer to some of my classes, the food is great, and I liked what I saw of Tercero South. On the other hand, I kind of like the idea of sharing a bathroom with only a few people and getting to know them really well as opposed to being acquaintances.

Basically my questions are for anyone who has lived in Cuarto:

are suite-styled dorms really that antisocial?

Is it easier to become close friends with people in Cuarto as opposed to just having a lot of acquaintances?

Do you ever feel that you missed out on traditional dorm life?

Not necessarily.

Look @ FT (or Santa Catalina) dorms in UCSB.

They have suite-styled dorms.

Doesn’t stop the little freshmen from being socially raucous. :P

Wasn’t a problem at all for me at Francisco Torres.
