Thanks.

Considering the fact that they send quite a number of students to med school, they must be doing something right.

You do realize that you can major in pretty much anything and still go to med school?

i think dartmouth has a fantastic biology department…and there are connections available to DHMC–dartmouth hitchcock medical center. dartmouth has it’s own medical school as well

Dartmouth has a very strong pre-med program…its very popular to be premed here, and they do a great job making sure their is an advising system in place for pre-med students. There are also a ton of opportunities in terms of shadowing doctors or doing research at the med-school/hospital.

This is a analysis that I posted in another thread, which shows Dartmouth is very competitive in medical school application.

Dartmouth is great for pre-med. Its advising is top notch which is a huge benefit. That plus the grants/ research/ thesis opportunities tend to make Dartmouth students stand out. Finally its less of a “weeder” than some peer schools. All this adds up for some amazing med school placement.

Perhaps, but since a certain grade-inflated school forgot what a C looks like, how tough is it really to earn a 3.6? :D
