is (developmental) psychology included in the CBS?

if yes, is that the best program to take?
if not, what is the highest program i can take for psychology major (like, the program that i apply for in hopes of getting into a great graduate school four years later).

im going to major in developmental psychology.
thank you so much for your help!

-ps, i realized that i dont need to write an essay to apply to university of minnesota? is this true?

Strictly speaking, there’s not an undergraduate major in developmental psychology. Psychology (CLA) offers undergradute electives in developmental. Child Psychology (technically CEHD, but undergrad degrees are CLA degrees) is, as you might expect, oriented toward developmental. U of M also offers Educational Psycholgy (CEHD).

I suspect either psychology or child psychology would best prepare you for graduate school. You should investigate both. Whichever route you take, avail yourself of any opportunity to do research. It’s possibly the best “resume enhancer” for grad school.

No essay. One less thing to worry about.

Good luck!

oh ok! thank you so much :)
