And if I apply now would it be difficult to get a private studio? Still many spaces left?

Dobie - quiet but nice
Towers - loud and social

I don't know about this year, but if it's anything like last year you probably can't get a private room/studio at either Dobie or University Towers. Dobie has more private rooms, so it would be your best bet.

My kids like Dobie because it is so close to campus. The ceilings are low and the rooms are small, but you get used to that. They like Towers because the rooms are spacious with tall ceilings, but it's a good walk to most classes. Castilian is a good option, too, but they don't have any private rooms (although they do have private suites where you share a bath with another room).

Towers is where its at if you want to meet a lot of people and just have some overall fun. Plus the rooms are better. If youve got cash to shell out for a studio though, it wouldn't be bad.
