Is Early Action harder for admission? (Oxford)

<p>I was just wondering, because everyone who applies for oxford scholars has to apply early action, wouldn't that mean the early action pool is really competitive? </p>

<p>my stats are on average with oxford's range (not scholars or emory college though) so I'm really nervous. I applied early action, would it have been better to apply later?</p>

<p>no way keep going on, applying early action puts you in a smaller pool to be evaluated and it shows dedication, also boosting your chances of admission a bit</p>

<p>regular decisions are also reviewed later on, but thats when you have 60-80% of the total applicants trying to get in usually</p>
