is EC important for transfer? and chances? engineering app for UCB, UCSD, UCSB, USC,

<p>1.Is EC , volunteer, leadership experience important for transfer?
2.what r my Chances?
CCC student, will app this year for UCB, UCSD, UCSB, USC,UCLA,Calpoly, CALtech, Standford,
(somebody told me UCLA engineering is not very good, though its overal ranking is good.)
international student, major in chemical engineering,
current GPA: 4.00 ( i will try to keep this GPA )
will complete the pre-req & IEGL before transfer.
few EC, but trying to do more this year.</p>

<p>since i am not US Citizen, i am afraid it'll be very hard to get into.</p>

<p>EC's, leadership, and volunteering I don't think are very important for engineering majors. But EC's, leadership, and volunteering would be beneficial if you had the time to do them.</p>
