I am an upcoming freshman at UCSD. I will have 12 APs by the time I enroll and I think I can satisfy most of my college’s GEs (Sixth lol), and I am open to double major.
Is Economics an easy major to double major (not difficulty, but enrollment wise)? Will the classes be so impacted that I’ll be on long waitlists?
Yes, according to the website, it is an impacted major. Hope someone there can tell you how hard it is to get the classes.

Impacted means in high demand for admission, not that the classes are difficult to get. A better descriptor is “capped major”. It’s not hard to get into Econ classes if you’re an Econ major. It’s also one of the easier majors to double major in in terms of workload.
