Is fast track at UCLA a guarantee of admission?

I recently was emailed with an offer to participate in the “fast track” program because of my “stellar high school academic record”. At the end of the message it says “While admission decisions have not yet been finalized, we recognize the extraordinary talent and ability you have presented in your application. Final decisions will be released by UCLA Undergraduate Admission in late March. Once these decisions have been released, we very much look forward to welcoming you in the Fall 2016 at UCLA.”

Like I said, does this mean I am in, or does everyone get one of these letters?

Thanks so much!

I think it is just an email to get you excited about attending the school and hopefully enrolling but maybe other posters have more experience.

I do think this is a good sign, but definitely not an acceptance just like the email for applying to the Alumni Scholarship etc… where many recipients were eventually not accepted.
