From Georgetown Admissions: https://uadmissions.georgetown.edu/flexible-testing-requirements/
"SAT and ACT:
Georgetown accepts both the SAT and ACT. Please note that we do not participate in Score Choice and require submission of an applicant’s entire testing record, if one is available. Students who are not able to submit scores from either test due to the COVID-19 pandemic are welcome to apply for admission to the Class of 2025 without the tests."
If I understand correctly, you’re required to submit all test scores if you’ve taken the SAT or ACT----Georgetown is only test-optional for students who have never taken the SAT or ACT. You should definitely confirm with the Admissions Office though, if you’ve taken either test-----that’s why they’re there!
Agree with the above.
Georgetown is test optional only for applicants who have not taken an ACT or SAT, their website is actually pretty clear.
For students who have taken an ACT and/or SAT test, or tests, all tests must be reported.
Also, all subject tests taken must also be reported.
So really, Georgetown is test flexible, not test optional.
If you can provide a link to the site/message you’ve received that differers from the school’s admissions site, we can provide an opinion of how valid it is.
Thank you for the input!
