Is it a bad sign if.....

I applied ED and wasn't contacted for my first and second marking period grades? Or would I even know about that? Does Cornell contact my school or me? My GPA isn't that high or at least high enough for Cornell, so I would expect them to want to know my grades this year, but if they have no interest then isn't that a clear bad sign?

{b]You** would not be contacted; your GC would. The mid-year report is a requirement and Cornell should not feel the need to chase those down; you GC should send once the semester finalizes. Cornell may request a formal or informal 1st quarter update. Or they may not. It totally depends. Don’t read too much into it.

@skieurope‌ Right, I’m talking about the quarter grades. We actually get 3 report cards in our first semester, with the 3rd report card grade counting as the mid-year report, so I would have expected them to want to look at the first report card or the second at least.
