Last year, for ED, it was a small envelope.

mine was big :D

oh, and expect it on 12/20. it's never on time.

someone said it took a week and a half to get password and whatever. i overnight-ed mine on the 31st of october so it would reach on nov 1st. when do i find out if they got my application?

I got my pass and username 2 and 1/2 weeks after sending forms 1 and 1A in September.

With the amount of apps they're getting now, I would expect you to get your info until the third week of november.

omg! that long! I've sent my app on the 28th. considering I'm an intl I shall probably receive the decision letter along with my info letter. :(

my friend checked online when she applied ED. for those of you that said that it isn't as exciting, let me assure you, it is. i was really happy to be with her for that moment because i've never seen anyone so excited in my life.

I can bet that! hope I'll be as excite as she was :D

Lakshmi:

I was an intl living in Belgium when I received my regular-decision acceptance last year; it came before it got to many of those in the US, via overnight DHL service.

What time do you think they'll post decisions online and then when will they mail decisions for ED?

mgcsinc: hope you're right! even though I wouldn't mind that bad if it would be delayed as long as I still get in :D (it's the final result that matters )

yeah, seriously, i wouldn't mind waiting as long as I get in. But then again, if I don't get in, I'd like to know as soon as possible so I can get my backup schools sent, but i'm planning to get em in this month sometime

yeah suman...you have to be prepared...just in case... although I just hate the thought of starting the whole application process one more time.... I was so stresseb about my ED app to come out all right that I really feel I need some time to recover...[ the math I should've learnt so far :p]

What time do you think they'll post decisions online and then when will they mail decisions for ED?

don't know for sure, but I guess if they posted them on the 10th last year, it'll have to be around the same date+/- one day. I suppose. and I guess they'll be mailed the same day they're posted online.

im so excited. i dont even care what kind of envelope it is.. whos down for them telling us tomorrow!! i know i would be!

I think everyone would be. because everyone is curous about it, and also everyone would want more time to REALLY consider RD/RA applications.

Are you waiting to send in the rest of you applications, if even necessary, until you hear from Brown?

in my school we had to give in the forms that the school needs to fill out by today.. so yea, i have applications in process.. but im not going to send out my part until i get rejected/deferred from brown.. hopefully it wont come to that though :)

same here. my reason is especially financial. cause even sending my apps through special mail services abroad costs me a lot. and if there is a chance that I could avoid that cost, then why shouldn't I? :p
hopefully I won't have to send ANY other apps :D

Regular decision yes was in a big envelope... but I guess it's different for early, according to the post above. Good luck to all you guys!
