Is it a good idea to graduate one semester early but no internship? (EECS)

I just realized that if I take two classes this summer, I can graduate in two semesters but I'll have no internship under my belt. I think it would be great to save an extra semester worth of money but would it be hard to get a job with no internship?

Maybe you could graduate a semester early and get an internship for what would have been your usual semester? This way you could concentrate more on the internship. Just a thought from an incoming freshman.

A lot of internships have this requirement "Working towards a Bachelor degree… " or “current undergraduate…” Once you actually graduate, you are in the normal “unemployed/newly graduate” pool.
I would strongly encourage you to get internships in summer and if nothing comes along, register for the classes. As an employer, I would prefer to see resumes from college graduates with “real world experience”.

Lots of kids are graduating this spring and going right into internships.
However, they did apply as college students, which is a requirement for some internships.
Find an internship you can do while going to summer school.
Hurry, it’s getting late.
