Is it bad for admissions if my email isn't very professional?

I finished basically all of the common app using this email (thegeehee10@xxx) and I now realized that colleges might not like this because it is not professional. Is it bad to have this? Should I change this? And if I do will I need to restart everything on the common app?

It is not an email I would choose to use but it is a lot better than some e.g. DukeHopeful@xmail.com when applying to colleges other than Duke.

It isn’t a big deal but all things being equal I’d create a new email for college applications using your name, your initials or something along those lines.

I would change it to something like your first initial and last name with a number. You will need a more professional sounding email later in life as well, so might as well start now.

I don’t think it’s a problem for college applications, but when you start applying for jobs or internships, you should do a more professional one. My D had an email based on her childhood nickname for years, but when she began job hunting she changed to one that is her first and middle initials with our last name.
