is it bad i told everyone?

<p>im applying to peddie, and i just saw a post about not telling anyone.. is it bad i mentioned when my friends asked where i was applying i was applying to peddie? now everyone always asks about it. thanks.</p>

<p>Don’t worry about it. Just tell them you are looking at a couple of options, won’t know until March, and change the subject.</p>

<p>It’s not ‘bad’; just, as you have found, it can be tiresome when you need to keep responding when you don’t have the decision yet.</p>

<p>It’s completely your choice, and it’s not necessarily “good” or"bad". Simply your decision.</p>

<p>However, fair warning. Should results not be satisfactory on M10th, these inquistive friends may become more than simply annoying when they ask questions. As a re-applicant, I have truly learned the hard way not to advertise my personal process. However, if these friends will be a good support system for you, then it might be a positive thing</p>

<p>I am applying this year, and have only told my closest friends. It is definitely easier to concentrate on both school and the admissions process if people aren’t constantly asking you about it. The absolute most important thing to do is to not say you are leaving. That would make March 11th quite awkward and could burn a lot of bridges.</p>
