Is it even worth applying?

I was initially interested in Carnegie Mellon's Tepper School because it is one of the best business schools in the nation, but I'm sure if I'm get in or not. My stats:

GPA: 3.8 UW at one of the toughest schools in my state
ACT 32 (36 English, 29 Math)
SAT II's this is the problem (700 U.S. History, 610 Math Level 1)

My first semester grades were ok, except I made a C in Calculus II. Besides that, I made a B in Physics III and A's in everything else.

What really adds to my application are my extracurricular activities. The one I'm focusing on is the founding and owning of my own Internet start-up that I created my freshman year. Besides that, I am president of speech and debate, am involved in an internship, volunteered at the local hospital, designed their website, and more. I'm also fairly sure I got a great letter of recommendation.

With my poor SAT II math score and my C in Calculus II, is it still worth applying?

I think you have a decent shot at Carnegie Mellon....your math sat II scores are slighly low as is your ACT math, although I think your passion in business and technology shows through. Your chances depend on the school.... Tepper/SCS would be slight reaches or high matches and CIT/MCS/HSS should be good targets for you.

I am applying with a C in AP Statistics first term (although I am doing better now and have a high B in Calculus and got As in all other math class). If your poor grade is an outlier, you should be fine. Overall, my average is quite similar to you (3.8uw/A-). I am taking the hardest classes offered also, although I have good offerings at school so I don't take community college classes. You are challenging yourself in junior college classes, which will help you in your application process. You should get in if they see that you are a good fit.

CMU is likely possible, as long as you're not focusing on the technical aspect of things. Unless of course you have some outstanding reason for mediocre performance in math. Which may be true.
