Is it going to affect my decisions if I take classes at 3 to 4 community colleges?

The title says everything, please let me know! Also, I only took 1 class at 1 community college, 5 at another, 10+(the CC I go to right now), and planning to take 1 more class at another community college. I was just wondering if this is going to affect my decision in any way? Thanks!

I have 3 community colleges, and still got accepted at UC’s. It shouldn’t affect you, just report everything on TAP and the UC application.
If you haven’t started TAP, start that as soon as possible

No

I got accepted into one of Cal’s most competitive programs and went to 7 or so community colleges. It’s not an issue but it doesn’t hurt to explain it in one of the additional comment sections on the application.

It is a pain though dealing with ordering transports and can get expensive. One word of advice, for the schools you’re done with an will not attend again, get transcripts from there now. They can take a while to get sometimes, so it’s best to just get it out of the way. On that note, get more than you need. Need 1? Get 5. You never know when you’ll need more and you won’t have to go through the annoying process again.

No, I go to two CC’s right now-- got into all UC schools, no one cares so long as the classes transfer

It is common for people to attend more than 1 CC in order to get the classes they need. In fact the UCs expect you to do this if there is more than 1 CC in your area; saying “my school doesn’t offer class X or Y” doesn’t cut it if another one in the area does.

I bounced around from school to school while I was in the military, didn’t hurt me. Other than having to track down and pay for official transcripts from three different schools…

I went to 5-6 CC’s and was admitted everywhere I applied.

This is the only way it could affect you: if you don’t complete all prerequisites for your major, but one of the CC’s you attended offers the prereq(s) you didn’t complete, then you will be docked for it. You’re expected to complete all the prerequisites available to you. People who only attend one CC won’t be docked if their CC doesn’t offer all of the prereqs for the major, so long as they complete all the prereqs available to them.

I went to 4 CC’s and 1 4-year University 11 years ago and I was admitted to UCB.
