Is it hard to transfer into Ross?

I'm still keeping my options open for majors, and I was considering Ross. I've already been accepted to LSA, and I was wondering Ross accepts many transfer students from LSA.
If so, what would be the ideal transfer candidate from LSA to Ross?
Is it possible to still get into Ross before next fall or do I have to wait?

you’d need at least a 3.6 gpa, at least an A- in calc 1 and econ 101, solid essays, and solid extra currics

is that to qualify to apply or actually get accepted?
What majors have the highest acceptance rate to Ross?

thats to get accepted. anyone can apply, although if you haven’t taken econ 101, math 115, and your FYWR they’ll presumably toss out your application.

Most people trying to get into Ross do so before declaring a major.

you need an A-? that is ridiculous. I know over 10 kids who got a B or and got into the bschool

I think he was saying to be guaranteed a spot or something

What other courses would be helpful & would look good to ross in the transfer process?
And what kind extracurriculars do you suggest? like umich clubs, or something more involved in the community?

that A- thing is ********. Half the kids i’ve met in bschool got Bs or worse on those classes.

alright, but I noticed on the bschool’s site that the Ross transfer acceptance rate is about 39%. I know this isn’t too terribly low, but it isn’t all that high either.
Any idea of those people with Bs or lower had excellent extracurriculars or great essays?

Also, I’m wondering if the extracurriculars needed have to be business related extracurriculars. I’m interested in science subjects, and I was considering doing research at UMich and taking advantage of their amazing health system. If I volunteered & researched in UMich labs & hospitals, would I still be a good candidate?

Andre is correct, if you want a good chance of getting into Ross, a 3.5+ GPA with As and Bs in Econ and Calculus is pretty much expected. Of course, there are many who get in with 3.3 GPAs and Bs in Econ and Calculus, but the odds of getting in are not as good.
