Is it harder to get into Engineering than Business?

My son and I are wondering if it is harder to get into the college of Engineering…specifically Mechanical Engineering…than it is to get into the collge of Business at Ohio State?

ACT 28; GPA 3.8 at a very competitive high school. Rigorous AP schedule in high school (Math and science heavy)

Yes. ACT score range was 29-33 (middle 50%) for engineering and 27-30 for business, based on the school website. Also over 80% of first year engineering students were ranked in the top 10% of their class, while just over half of business students were.
