In one of my AP classes we had our last test of the year last week (for a class grade). Our tests are weighted as 50% of our total grade and because my current average is 80%, I really needed this test to bump my grade up to an A. So needless to say I studied like no other. Hours and hours of studying that I could have been using to study for my two other AP tests that I had last week. Well some idiot decided to cheat, and they were caught, so my teacher decided to make the test not count for anyone because apparently she wouldn't be able to tell who cheated and who did (all you have to do is look and see who showed work and who didn't!!!). Well I'm pretty salty that I wasted all of my time studying for this and took time out of my AP study time to focus on this! And the icing on the cake is the person who cheated isn't getting in any trouble because when they admitted to cheating they were crying which showed they were "remorseful and had been through enough already". I tried to talk to my teacher about this, but she was rude to me and acted as if I was the bad guy because I wanted my effort to count. Am I the one that's wrong here? Am I making too big of a deal about it? No one else seems as upset as I do...

Nah ur not… If I was in your situation I would be **ed. You have a right to be, but oh well sh happens

What a *****! Even after you talked to her…I sorry you wasted all that time on some dumb teacher’s test. She deserves to have to teach all back-to-back freshman classes next year.

I’m sorry that happened to you. Life can be a b**** sometimes. Can you talk to anyone else about your situation, such as your parents or a school counselor?

holy crap, same exact thing happened to me.
i studied my butt off for our last test before the AP exam (it counted as 20% of our grade), but then some kids passed around the answer key and one chick got caught and now our teacher’s freakin ****ed, threw out that test, and said he’s going to give us another test the week after ap exams.

but at least your studying isn’t going to waste… i’m sure whatever you studied for is going to help you on your ap exam. (unless you already took it?)
