The people who received a match or slight reach from flopsy, did they get accepted into ucla cause i havent seen them post yet. and did the people who had a reach were they accepted.

I was a slight reach. ROFL at flopsy! (I'm c/o 2010 btw)

:D

Just make yourself the best applicant you can be (if you're next year). And if not, just enjoy your senior year. Apply for scholarships and don't become some lazy pig.

don't be intimidated by the people who posted here.

cc is not a good overall indication of the general student population.

dont worry too much. i didnt post my stats before, but i wouldve considered myself to be high reach :)

i was a slight reach/match

got in :) class of '11

i was a match
and im here

i was a reach :)

deuces were you accpeted? and what were your stats ccer's that were accepted.

How come you don't just look at the stats UCLA releases?

I was slight reach for SB UCI Davis, reach for UCSD and didn't get ranked for UCLA and Cal... got into all but SD

It's in my stats profile.

Wow, mrspam, a 4.07 places you in the top 5 ? Is your school not really competitive?

All high school GPA's are not created equal =P. Some may weigh classes differently.

I was a reach/slight reach.

But now I'm failing miserably in my classes :(

Of course I was. (hence, class of 2010). Why are you tripping out? Is your app in?

He's made like 7 threads about nearly the same thing. He keeps asking what do you need to get into UCLA or what did you do to stand out. The information is out there.

Ah, another person who is way too concerned about stats. Just relax. Please.

Trying to compare yourself to others on CC is NOT representative of the whole student body population. I've had friends who've gotten 1300s and 1500s on the new SAT get in here. They've had GPAs like 3.85, and have still gotten in here.

So, what I'm saying is: Shut up. Just wait a couple of months, enjoy your senior year, and THEN you could feel more excited when decisions are near (say, a week before). Your app's already sent; why stress out about something that is already done?

You can also try transferring if you don't get in the first time.

i have a hard time telling the difference between people who are overworried and people who expect answers handed to them on a silver platter =/

The OP is the latter :).
