that's my first quarter's schedule at UCLA. now I'm doubting that I can comfortably take care of all 3 courses. should I switch out of LS or chem for something else? I'm thinking maybe a classics course, or something else...but it's kinda late now, isnt' it? DANG IT YO I should've gone to orientation. somebody give me some advice thanks!

you can do it ricepudding...it'll probably be harder than your average incoming freshman schedule but like citan said...you have to get use to this sooner or later

i hope you don't mind me jumping on this thread, ricepudding.

i'm also an incoming freshman.

... what about this schedule:
1. CHEM 20AH Chemical Structure (Honors) - 4 units
2. COMM STD 10 Introduction to Communication Studies - 5 units
3. PHYSICS 6AH Physics for Life Sciences Majors: Statics and Dynamics (Honors) - 5 units
4. EL ENGR 10 Fiat Lux Freshman Seminar: Nanotechnology and Design and Application of Future-Generation Computers - 1 unit
5. BIOMED 19 Fiat Lux Freshman Seminar: Neuroengineering: Technology that Could Enable "The Matrix" - 1 unit

I might drop the elec. engineering seminar since it's TBA right now.

That's the most weeder-intensive freshman schedule I've ever seen... Your course-load is so awkward that I can't determine if you're an engineer, a pre-med, or a pre-Communications major. I hope your ambitions live up to your screen-name.

im taking the chem 20 series since there's the chance i might switch to biochem.

im taking intro to comm because i've been a journalist/designer for my h.s. newspaper for the last few years and i have an interest in it -- though i hear it's pretty boring with all memorization.
