about going to ucla[i hated it there when i visited about a year ago], due to parental pressure and self-doubt, when i could have gone to berkeley or usc for premed? sorry this is very troll-like

BUT!!!... if you have a similar story to mine and are now in love with ucla or the other school you never in your life wanted to attend
[but applied because you had an extra fee waiver, and now stuck with it]

Please let me know! It would be deeply appreciated, (btw im waitlisted for stanford, but pretty much given up on that....)

No it is probably not normal to feel absolutely miserable about that. Seek psychiatric help.

^well i think i will now, lol… umm but yeah seriously, did anyone have a similar experience in which you GREW to love your school?

I was feeling really down on myself after I didn’t get into H and Y but finally contented myself with Dartmouth. I’ve done research on the school and have really grown to like it from what I can tell. Still kind of bummed, but I imagine the feelings will go away once I get on campus.

A lot of people do.

For one, I know a lot of kids at Hopkins start off inlove with it, then fall quickly out of love due to the rigor of academics, but then realize midway that Hopkins is the best thing that has happened to them academically and personally, and then quickly fall in love with it again. lol

^ lol, YES! That happened to me today :D

thanks i feel a lot better about it now. =]
