B/c some classes that I would like to take, such as bio(for my possible major) can't fit into my schedule. And some classes are filled up. (according to bingbuilder)
Is that ok?? I'm afraid I wont finish my degree in time.

Don’t worry about your major right now. I personally suggest you focus on General Education classes. You will have plenty of time to finish your major even if you declare the end of your sophomore year. You will probably wind up taking classes that may even fulfill your majors requirements without even realizing it. Take what you can and don’t worry about not getting into all the classes you want.

Thanks.
Is it really hard to complete premed requirements and a nonscience major such as economics?

I looked at bingbuilder and all the science courses(I kinda wana have at least 1 science course 1st semester) interfere with the Discussion section of Sociology which I’m enrolled in for Learning Communities. Is it possible to change Discussion section since I’m in LC? As of now, I’m thinking of opting out learning communities because of the schedule thing…blahh

Thanks,
Carmen

If you are in the learning community you can not switch sections as the section you are in is just for the learning community students. I could not tell you how hard it is to complete a pre-med track as I am not on that track.

can i opt out of learning communities? do you think its a good idea to for the sake of scheduling.

and do all LC courses fulfill general requirements?

From the website----“Additional Living-Learning Opportunities in CIW”

“For students in Chemistry 107 and Biology 117 (the normal first-semester courses for pre-health students) we are planning special study group opportunities, available to all CIW residents.”

Why would you opt out of a program that offers a great way to meet other students in your hall community as well as special study group opportunities for pre-health students?

Wait until you go to orientation. They will help you with advisement and registration.
