is it okay for guys to shave their legs/arms?

<p>Er...what about pubes? You know...in those "special areas?"</p>

<p>shave THOSE areas....
especially for your g/fs sake lol</p>

<p>Thanks man. I owe you one.</p>

<p>It's kind of weird for a guy to shave their arms and legs IMO, but whatever.</p>

<p>Look it up anywhere. It is a known fact that shaving does not make the hair grow faster.</p>

<p>I remember in 8th grade there was this chinese boy named andy and ...he had no "manly" hair yet and all the guys would say at the MOST random times "hey andy these ladies were wondering if you shave or anything . . wanna show them your legs?" </p>

<p>Hahaha . . soo mean though, the poor kid would blush a whole lot</p>

<p>same guy that all the girls tied town, put a lot of makeup on him, and took several humiliating pictures .. I never saw a guy run faster to the bathroom once they let go.</p>

<p>haha thats so mean.</p>

<p>hate crime</p>

<p>just kidding</p>

<p>I guess its OK if you're going for that prepubescent look.</p>

<p>Alright once and for all, as a swimmer myself, I am disspelling the myths.
The purpose of the shaving is not necessarily to remove just the hair, the presence of it really doesn't matter (and I don't care if you say it holds three times its weight in water), but in fact, it is actually the topmost layer of your skin that matters. Getting rid of the really dead skin cells is like getting a new layer of skin. What you are trying to achieve is the 'feel' for the water you would otherwise not have if you didn't shave. It feels awesome, it bugs me when I get into bed and I'm silky and I start squirming around. You can really feel where the water is going on your body, and I usually feel much more lighter in the water when I do.
Note: Don't do this regularly, this is only meant for those really big meets, if you do it all the time, you're not gonna be as desensitized as you would be if you only did it 2 or three times a year.</p>

<p>amen; just do it after your taper and wear pants until they grow back. Is it just me or does it feel weird/feminine when you rub your legs together right after the shave. Anyways, I don't see how girls keep it smooth all the time, the morning after I shaved, the hairs started coming up and I wasn't totally smooth anymore. lol, I sound like a fag...</p>
