It's been 1.5 yrs since the last class I took with her. 6 months ago she was walking with her friend toward me about 15 yrds way and I heard her say, "Hey, it's [my name]! I had a crush on him!" She's 25, I'm 20.</p>

<p>Would you feel comfortable taking a course from her? You may want to mention any concerns you might have to someone within your department, as you wouldn’t want re-emerging feelings (or concerns that they might re-emerge) to interfere with your studies.</p>
<p>A lot of people try really hard to get the teacher to like them. Are you saying that it’s unfair to your peers if you start off at a high place and don’t have to work for the teacher’s attention? I would say it’s unfair, but in the same way that having a high IQ is unfair. Go for it, this is your high IQ moment – carpe diem!</p>
