Especially guys and young attractive female professors (late 20's - mid 30's preferably). If you've seen this happen, what university is it at?

Is this your most important factor when choosing a college? If yes then you're really messed up.

I'm sure it does happen.

Of course, since anyone TA'ing classes would be just another student it would be okay, and since that is okay it must be okay with phd's, and then since thats okay it would be no difference with a doctor etc.

Induction ftw! Just be sure to not go public until after you are graded.

I remember one of my instructors (who was in his mid-20s maybe, and looked like a rocker version of John Stamos) always acted like he was terrified of the girls in the class.
It was a hands-on class so touching students (to instruct them how to correctly hold the instrument and finger positions) was necessary, he'd help the boys but just kind of poke at the girls with a pencil and acted as if they would scream "sexual harassment!" at any minute.

Because of that, I wonder if he ever had a run-in with getting in trouble for having a relationship with a student.

I'm pretty sure it does happen. I don't know how one could go about listing specific schools though.

I'll give an example:

When I'm volunteering at this hospital, there's this 26-year old really pretty Histology teacher.

When we take our small seminars and such on Histology, no one can't stop looking at her! (even I)

She's 26, really pretty and a Doctor!

Very attractive...

but then you remember the whole "I'm a volunteer at this Hospital, she's a Doctor and Professor, I don't think it'll work until I become a Doctor"

lol.

Freaking ethical barriers.

"What?! How dare you give me a B on my exam. It's over!"

"I noticed you weren't in class yesterday. Who is she?!"

Well, sometimes you have to go the extra mile to get that A...

Lay for the A?

Judging from the OPs previous posts, is it safe to assume you want a mid-20s white professor who is attracted to desperately-seeking-white-women Asians, and I assume there will be prom involved?

hahahaha, No I dont think so dude

do u really think so?

Idk, it would be kinda smexy =D

Yes, as long as that professor is his sister.

why do i get the sick sick feeling that this is a professor posting looking for some student action

I'm guessing it's extremely rare because the professor would get fired if any relationship were discovered, man or woman.

Same rules apply to a boss and employee in America; you can potentially get into a lot of legal trouble that way (the boss). Claiming you had to do sexual favors to get hired or stay hired, etc. Just a real big sh**-storm.

I know a guy who hooked up with one of his TAs after they ran into each other at a club. Also I have a girlfriend whose TA asked her out on a date when they ran into each other at a party.

They weren't actual professors, although it's still pretty weird & possibly illegal..?

peter_parker

that's because it's an ethical issue

Seem to remember it happening in law school. I am almost sure they got married.
