is it possible at all to petition to take math 20c without passing 20b?

I messed up bad in 20b this quarter but I already registered for math 20c. They're going to remove me from 20c once they see i didn't pass 20b.. but i was wondering if I could just petition to take 20c and then take a math class at a community college to transfer over for 20b. I learned my lesson.. i'll actually look at the book next time. If i have to take 20b this quarter.. it'll destroy the very intricate and perfect schedule i set up... :-(

um ... do you really think you're ready to take 20C if you didn't learn enough to pass 20B?

just saying is all, a "perfect schedule" isn't going to mean anything if your grades take a dive.

No it's not that so much as that it's because I changed it to P/NP stupidly on the last day, not knowing that you need a letter grade to move ahead in the series. I definitely learned a few things about the way grades and classes work.

your professor will know your grade for your work in the class -- if it equals a passing grade, that might be enough to warrant a successful petition.
