<p>I really wanted to go to Rutgers (NB) but...I was wait-listed. Since it's the time of the year when everyone is making their final college decisions (and some of those people decide not to attend RU), is it possible for new openings that will allow me to go to the school? Or should I just give up on Rutgers completely for this "silent rejection?"</p>

<p>Don’t Worry about it many kids i know have been accepted after being wait-listed , if your grades are acceptable u will be fine.</p>
<p>i found out when i was still in high school. but pyrokaos is right, if you dont find out while your still in high school, if your grades are good senior year when you send in your transcript, you should get in. good luck.</p>
<p>thank you for all the replies. i don’t know if RU really doesn’t want me to attend the school though…i didn’t receive any notification (i.e. a letter, card, e-mail, etc.) about remaining on the wait-list. i was wait-listed to SAS by the way (the only school i applied to), so my confidence is just slowly diminishing with RU…plus it’s only two months until graduation and i still haven’t heard from them as of yet.</p>
<p>I’m in the same exact situation! I have Rutgers pharm at the top of my list but I waitlisted as well. Can you send in your deposit to a certain school and if you get into Rutgers, apply there and cancel the deposit? Is that possible?</p>
<p>me too. I got waitlisted by pharm, and its my top choice. But I already paid the deposit for northeastern university. if Rutgers accept me, i will go to Rutgers even though i might lose the $600 deposit money.</p>
<p>yeah, i sent in my $700 deposit for University of the Sciences as well (ps, that’s soo much money compared to the $150 Rutgers requires)
I got waitlisted for Northeastern because they lost my papers and found them after the deadline… what luck

sjyuhan, I’m going to Northeastern as well. I’ve sorta given up on Rutgers though, so more than likely I’ll be attending NU.</p>

<p>I’m still sitting on the Engineering wait-list. You should hear back eventually, but it’ll probably be after May 1st, so get your deposit elsewhere. On another note, losing that deposit to the other school isn’t much when you look at tuition cost and how much you would save there.</p>
