Is it possible...JHU?

Hey everyone,
I am a senior, excited to go to college!!!

Do you think that I may be able to get into JHU (ED or RD) from my research?
I have been applying what I have learned from Organic chemistry class to Alzheimer's disease through thee use of nanotubes...I'm pretty much doing research on slowing down the progression of Alzheimer's using the chemical properties of nanotube derivative.

I know that JHU likes and emphasizes research a lot! So, maybe I could get in.

The problem is that my GPA is 4.3 weighted (could have been much better if not in IB program), and my transcript does not look good for junior year, the most important year. I took (required to) IB HL English, IB History HL, and IB HL Chemistry (I chose), the rest of my IB classes were IB SL. That year was just overwhelming, so bad that my HL History class average was a 71. However, past exams have shown that students get perfect 7's on the IB exams although the class is hard. I have also taken several AP Classes (9), and received 4's and 5's.

My ECs are: rock climbing outdoor/indoor, research (maybe not an EC), play several instruments (sax, guitars, piano..), and NeurologyClub president.

So, what do you think?

JHU: Aim for 32+/2150+

emphasize the research aspect in your app, and how you can take your experiences from it into JHU. ECs aren’t particularly ringers, but you do seem to have the high rigor bit down. as stated above, 2200s on your SATs or 34s (I’m being high because that’s the average taken from my school, a competitive one) will push you closer. Even so, its still a reach for now, ED might change things. Good luck!
