Is it possible to become an investment banker by attending Stevens Institute of Technology?

Is the business program at Stevens good enough to get you into IB? I hear they have connections with fortune 500 companies...is that true?

Thanks

You can probably be an investment banker if you get an MBA from a top program but right out of undergrad, most unlikely.

I was just at accepted students day with my son. The speaker was talking about the Quantitative Finance program at Stevens. He said he went with someone to observe a class (of quant fin students) and asked the students who had either done an internship or coop (and maybe who had gotten a job offer I don’t remember) at Goldman Sachs and he said half the class raised their hands. http://www.stevens.edu/howe/academics/undergraduate/majors/quantitative-finance

Not sure if that is related to what you’re asking, but yes, they have good connections.

thank you for your response @rualum‌. Now may I ask your sons GPA and sat scores because I’m interested in attending Stevens

Neither one is doing the business program. Their GPAs and SATs are pretty high.
