<p>I am admitted into UIUC as a transfer student in Fall 2006.When I filled out my major when I am applying I wrote I wanna do finance.But now I am more inclined to do accounting.Can I change my major in there??If not,what can I do if I wanna major in accouting but not finance??Is it possible to do both if they dun let me change at all?:(

<p>Accounting and finance are different departments, but they're within the same school. If you wanted to switch from finance to, say, like biology, that would be hard, but changing from finance to accounting should just be a matter of filling out a form. :)</p>
<p>It depends on the school... sometimes they have limited availability for particular majors and this makes it harder to switch majors. You may want to research how to switch majors within the business school at UIUC to find out more.</p>
