Look I know it looks like a lot of text, but it is not really :)

Hello, I am currently going to be a Freshman(full time for Comp.Eng.) at Fullerton this fall and will be attending housing there.
Here is the breakdown of all of this.my EFC = 0 and my family income is 18,000. With a sister going to UCLA and dorming there as well.

Grants:
Estimated Federal Pell Grant-5,730.00
Estimated State Grant-5,472.00
State University Grant?(If I can call them will there be a possibility to be able to attract this grant?)
Loans:
Estimated Fed Direct Loan-3,500.00

Estimated Fed Direct Loan Unsub-2,000.00

16,702.00 is total(Loans+Grants)

The total cost of attending there is around 24,440.00(19,824 Tuition and dorm min.). Leaving a 7.7k Gap of money from my family. I am sure I can cut corners. Maybe 2754 because Transportation and Misc/Personal. I barely use 100$ on myself a year. I did sign up for work study but when I check my Financial Aid it is not there so maybe next time or I can beg on my knees hopefully!!!

This is the minimum going there? Maybe? I think I am trying, this is all new to me.
$19824(Tuition and Dorm)

+$1000-600(books)

$20824-20424

-$16702(loans+grants)

$4122-3722

Look I am just trying to get most of the debt low because I know I am going to be taking out the loans right there for the school. Also trying to get more grants. I don't need my parents going through any stress they are around 60-64, and I don't want them to be having a hard time. (If it is a must I will drop out of the year and go to a CC. Hopefully this is at the bottom of the list.)

(I wish there was an Air-force ROTC at Fullerton, but only Army. I would of joined to help out for money cost)

(If I did my math wrong please correct me. I am just worrying a lot!)
