What kind of moronic question is this? Are you essentially asking if they have a 100% acceptance rate?

no

im just saying that people said that applicants are usually deferred to CGS when they are rejected from CAS, SMG, etc, 80% of the time

im asking if kids are rejected from CGS a lot

dude

Well, it depends on the application just like at any other college. If they think that you’re not fit for whatever college in BU you applied to, but you’re still able to show that you have the potential, then they will offer you a place in CGS.

They are obviously going to reject an applicant if the adcoms think that the he/she is not BU material. Remember that BU is not your community college.

But still, CGS is obviously the least selective college at BU. BU is a school where about half of the applicants get accepted overall, so I believe that CGS has an even higher rate.

@ qwerty

i thought everyone calls CGS a community college anyways???

?

si it shud be high right?

Well it is named as a community college because it is a 2-year general program and its standards are lower. But this doesn’t mean that everyone can get in there.

ya dude im struggling to get into CGS
