Is it possible to transfer from a JC to a Cal State after one year, instead of two?

<p>I am most likely going to have to go to a JC next year. However, I need to get out of my house and would like to go to SFSU as soon as I possibly can. Is there a way I can transfer there after one year not two by taking classes during summer either online or at the school?</p>

<p>probably not, unless you have a lot of AP credit. They say on their website

So even though there are 2 summers and the school year between HS graduation and the start of the fall term your 2nd year of college, they won’t count any units you earn that 2nd summer towards admission.</p>
