Hi. I’m going to go to CUNY’s cc or SUNY’s cc.
After community college, I want to enroll in NYU or columbia university.
So, is it possible to transfer to these university?
and How hard is it to transfer?

I can see NYU as a realistic option if you get good grades in CC, but you will probably have a slim to no chance at Columbia. Is it still possible though? Sure it is.
Another thing to keep in mind is that both schools have terrible financial aid packages for transfer students. Definitely apply to both schools if they are your dream schools, but you should also have more schools on your list including more realistic and safety options.
@Dontskipthemoose hit it right on the nose. While NYU is definitely and option, Columbia is a crap shoot even if you had a “near-perfect” academic record. If you performed extremely well in CC, I’d apply to Columbia.
Have you thought about out of state options? It’ll most likely cost the same to attend an OOS university (maybe even less!) considering NYU’s financial aid history.
