<p>I'm applying to Wharton because I love business. A liberal arts foundation is still important to me... and the proximity to Wharton would still help me if I was in SAS.</p>
<p>1 - If I happen to enter Wharton and feel that it isn't right for me, is it possible to transfer into SAS? How hard is it?</p>
<p>2 - Also, about the differences in lifestyle from Wharton to SAS... Do social lives tend to differ between Wharton undergrads and their SAS peers? Are people in Wharton much more "snooty" than the SAS kids, or is the difference negligible? Is Wharton much harder (lower GPAs similar to engineering students)?</p>

<p>you may certainly transfer from wharton to the college, but you need to have a minimum 3.0 gpa</p>
<p>wow that’s a lot easier than the 3.8 you apparently need to transfer from SAS into Wharton lol…</p>
<p>sure, but there are often times freshmen who find themselves unhappy in wharton or engineering but have done not-so-hot and can’t transfer immediately</p>
<p>Better late to SAS than never (though you should really just save yourself the trouble–and MGMT 100) and apply to SAS from the start.</p>
<p>As for the lives, no they don’t differ. That’s silly. You don’t know what school people are in until you ask them. I’ve met some of the most corporate pre-professional people in SAS who went on to Goldman Sachs, and some really creative people in Wharton (one of whom went on to become a writer for Nickelodeon shows, some others are serious musicians).</p>

<p>Agree with bagels. My son’s friends are spread over all the colleges. No one cares when forming friendships.</p>
