I know that sounds like a pretty relative question, but ive seen a lot of threads about dropping classes and of course colleges think that its really bad to drop a class, but if youre taking a bunch of other aps, will that one drop make that much of a difference?
Also, does anyone know of someone that dropped a class and applied to Stanford and was accepted?

I suppose its also important to consider why you dropped the classes. If you mentioned it in your college app, you should have explained it.

If it was just because you had too many AP classes or the class was hard, that would look bad.......yeah, sorry.

But, it could hurt you more or less depending on how the rest of your application looks. If everything else sparkles, the college app officer might just ignore it.

I dropped an elective to take an AP, should I explain this in a letter? I didn't tell any school I'm applying to, just crossed out Media Lit and put in AP Human Geography.

^^^^^
I can't imagine that would bother them. But I still think they want to know about any schedule changes.

Exactly. Any changes are important to them.
